In today's view, concrete is a raw material consisting of various cement-binding mixtures with the addition of various fillers. There is no doubt that the use of cement and concrete is a huge leap in the construction industry.  The concrete obtained later was much superior to Roman concrete in its properties and characteristics. The raw materials extracted from cement were completely unaffected by humidity and showed resistance to cold, fire, etc. Although modern concrete was ahead of its "brother" at the initial stage of invention with its qualities, but the basis of raw materials and the technology for its production were developed back then and are actively used to this day.

Concrete mixers are being improved and the latest admixtures for concrete are being produced, which increase its quality.
